So yeah, this evening was Oktoberfest, and I have to say it met all the expectations. It was a pretty sweet night. Had a few beers and spent some good time with mates, and saw heaps of faces who I hadn't seen in yonks. There didn't really seem to be anyone who DIDN'T go tonight - it was packed!
Popping was interesting. Bonnie and I are officially rebels, hahaha. Never felt like dancing so much in my life! Not sure if I'll do it again, but we'll see.
Talking to Sara about shit was heaps good as well, that was probably one of the best things of the night. I always had a hunch I could talk to him and it'd be heaps cool, and it couldn't have gone any better. It's good to know that there are still people out there who don't come to premature judgments and conclusions. I also hate those awkward stalemate sort of situations when two people know who each other are, but can never talk to each other. So it felt heaps good to finally get that all out of the way, off each other's chests and move on.
I guess even to this day I underestimate the implications of all this, but I can't complain. There's actually a lot more rational-thinking people out there than I thought, which is a huge relief. Apparently not everyone is simply pinning it all on me. Phew.
Gute nacht!
Song of the moment: Guten Tag by Wir Sind Helden. Because I'm still in that funky German mood!
